Since 2018 I have also devoted myself to the myth of Danaé. Danae who represents the fertility of the earth just like Persephone and his daughter Korê in Greece (myth and mysteries of Eleusis, often visited and renovated by Hadrian during his travels). In my DANAE project the Villa d'Hadrian becomes the materialization of this myth of Danae, fertilized, fertilized by a rain of gold sent by Zeus. 

Marguerite Yourcenar found her inspiration in Hadrian's life (see "Hadrian's Memoirs") and for me, these ancient ruins are an inexhaustible source of beauty and confrontations that bring new ideas in the sense as explained above.
